mutation: decrease brain cell size and make myelin cells more insulating so the axons conduct electricity with less feedback.

i meant the kind of mushroom that makes you hallucinate, not an actual magical mushroom

Round 6 - 12:00, April 26th, 2000

Round Prologue
Right at the noon of 26th of April, 2000, the most important thing yet has happened in TO’s life - a human managed to see it face-to-face. How did it react to the intruder?

The Organism

TO’s muscles have been reinforced, making the creature as a whole stronger (+4 S)

TO’s neuron size has decreased even more, and the whole brain structure now generates less feedback when making energy (+8 ME). It’s armor now has the ability of changing colors, making the ones it’s facing more confused when they see it the first time (+8 S). TO also has made great improvements to it’s respiratory system, even being able to produce basic sounds (+10 MH). It’s venom has became a lot more lethal, but in the process some health has been lost (+10 S, -8 H). Other important change occured in it’s brain - some of it’s cortexes have been converted to different functions, making TO not able to feel “anger” or “hatred” (+8 MH). TO also again increased in size, now being some 64-ish centimeters long, or about as long as an average human arm (Size → 64cm, -16R).

After the morning, TO tried to return to the Las Brias settlement, however it struck a tree and returned to nest damaged (-8 H). On the way home it struck another tree (-8 H).

HUMAN INTERACTION
When TO returned home and managed to surface-heal it’s newly-acquired damage, it noticed somethig moving in the bushes… Using pheromones, it summoned it’s many, too mutating children who were ready to fight until their death… and also caught a few worms during the waiting (+12 R). Suddenly, a human, clearly a tourist, came out of the bushes near TO’s nest. An eye contact has been established between them and TO… Suddenly, TO started using it’s vocal cords, managing to produce some squel-like sounds that sometimes sounded like english words, such as “hi”. The tourist was so shocked by this that they dropped much of the food they were carrying (+20 R).
Then both TO and it’s children attacked.
COMBAT
(6/6)
TO, along with it’s army, managed to bite on an arm of the tourist, quickly injecting a lot of it’s toxin into the person (6x140:10=84 - Human HP lowered to 16/100). The venom did it’s job very well, quickly causing multiple organs to reach critical homeostasis levels. After the human fell down due to the pain the venom, it didn’t take long for TO to bite it second time, now in it’s face…
(1/6)
With the venom glands being nearly empty, TO’s bite didn’t inject much poison into the person, however they are now on the edge of survival (16/100 HP - 14 S = 2/100 HP). As TO tried to bite the person the third time, the tourist has managed to lift their arm with one last effort and try dropping it on the aggresor…
(5/6)
TO took some damage, but it stayed strong (5x10:10=5). It’s children managed to finish off the person, making this mutating being kill it’s first human and gain a large amount of flesh to feed on… (+48 R) HAL changed.

(+8 ME, +22 S, +18 MH, -29 H, +80 R)

SIZE-RELATED CHANGES (will take effect from Round 7):

  • Things such as mutations/action costs, statistic gains due to mutations/actions, energy consumed per round, health loss due to roll of 1, resource gathering multiplier and resources turning into other statistics have been multiplied by 8 16 (so for instance, a resource-gathering action with a roll of 3 or 4 will now gather 10 20 R (8 16 R + 2 4 R from the former +0.25 R per R-gathering action) and cost 4 8 E.)
  • 16 resources can now be turned into 32 energy, 48 R can be turned into 64 E, 144 R to 128 E etc., and 16 R can be turned into 16 H (here it is always 1:1).

Statistics
HEALTH - 11/152 → 22/304
STRENGTH - 162 → 324
RESOURCES - 72/96 (-42 R from mutations, -8 R to regenerate 16 E) → 176/192
ENERGY - 4/120 → 8/240

Informal:

SIZE - ~64 cm (4 cm x 16/2^4)
KILLS - 1 PERSON

HUMAN POPULATION ~ 6099999999
COUNTRY POPULATION ~ 5100000

HUMAN AWARENESS LEVEL - “You killed a person, but no one noticed it…yet.”

Miscellaneous
Added the kills statistic, which records the amount of people TO killed.
I’ll remind you that there exists a system that allows you to make a vote against a player whose Mutation/Actions goes against your own Mutation/Action.

Some additional rules and stuff:
-If size of the organism increases, so will the organism statistics, aswell as their effects (so if you double your size, the organism has double in height statistics, and it consumes double energy/round passively).
-Actions such as converting resources into energy, or turning resources into health, don’t cost energy. However, if you don’t have resources nor energy, you can draw your health bar (meaning that it’ll have a lower cap) in order to regenerate energy just like resources.

I think that you guys should spend those resources into other statistics and not just mutations/actions…

mutation: new caste, split off of the queen caste, with a hollowed out, enlarged, and transparent abdomen. all the organs in the abdomen are moved to the thorax and the reproductive organs are greatly reduced in maximum size, preventing thoracic explosions. the abdomen has all melanin removed to make the inside hospitable to photosynthesizers. as this caste’s abdomen doesn’t have any organs in this caste and has openings big enough for ants to go in and leave, it will instead be called the carriage. the ‘carriage’ is typically carpeted with algae or moss. this caste makes one egg a week and puts it in the ‘carriage’ for protection. all children of this caste are genetically identical to it

action: turn resources into health
