Wait, the cybermagic isn’t the whole point of the forum game?
You could possibly replicate it with lots of effort.
There was a whole period in this FG’s history when cybermagic / cyberspace wasn’t even a thing.
- Try to use soul circuitry to evolve sapience
- Try to convince the forum users to focus the cursors only on the mistworm alliance, not the covenant
Can Deus understand English and use it to convince users to stop attacking the mistworm, or will it just be gibberish?
M1. Develop rudimentary language using the plant’s unique shapes to carve the alphabet.
M2. Stalk the covenant members to relay information to the mistworm.
Yeah deus should be able to communicate with it by this point.
Edit: I meant the in-forum-game entity called Deus.
- improve lungs
- improve segmanted build to more agile
Live Deus reaction
I guess Deus didn’t know that it could speak English.
Round 37 - Year 3, Month 2
With this month came a new battle, and a new order to the forum. No longer are there AI cursors or Forum parks around, as the users have united under one goal: Destroying the Mistworm.
MISTWORM STATUS:
- 26/40 HP
- LEVEL 3 - can take away 1 Mutation and 3 Conservation Points from up to 2 species EACH ROUND (basing on Mistworm Action)
- Regenerates 4 HP / Round after it gets damaged
- Has 2 Fiefs - D. Bontopius and D. Amplicoma; They give The Mist a tribute if it’s dealt more damage than it can tolerate, where 1 Conversation Point = 1 HP.
- Has undead swarms on it’s command.
- Directly controls armies of M. Yuyimus brought back from extinction, can submit a tribute like a fief.
- Directly controls armies of C. Caligovermis, also can function like a fief.
- Develops a mutations once per two rounds.
- Commands one action every round.
- Has armour which makes each attack take 1 less damage
Mistworm MA: Defend Self (-3 damage from this attack)
Mistworm Mutation: Scales (-1 damage from each attack)
Undead MA: (Rolled 5/6) - Distract the Covenant (-2 damage from the attack)
MMs/MAs have 1/3 chance to fail for the undead and 1/4 for all other Mistdom members, except for the mistworm
The worm experienced another attack, this time defending better than before. Following the second battle it also developed special scales to make each attack less harmful.
THE SECOND BATTLE
(Rolled 6, 5, 1, 2, 5)
The Covenant sent less soldiers this time, with large differences in their luck - Nd. Cogitandi and M. Cat-Bestiae were rather lucky, while M. Narrenists and C. Venenatorum were far less lucky. In the end the worm also deployed it’s allies to repel the attack.
However the users, now united under MwTC’s banner, started attacking the worm too, being quite successfull in that. They have already developed new tactics to damage the worm more with new slashing patterns…
(3 + 5 + 4 + 1 + 5 = 18. Mistworm and it’s allies repelled 3+2+2+2+1+1 = 11 damage. 18 - 11 = 7. Mistworm regenerated 4 HP. Mistworm HP down to 26.)
In the end the attack caused some damage to the worm, but nowhere as near at the large attack from before…
Species
NPC - Sapiepoda TeaKinges, “The Crawler” - OP
- Medium Omnivore
Mutations: Help Deus in Convincing the users (1/6), More Efficient Lungs (+1 B Speed)
DM: Help in account study
S. TeaKinges wanted to help Deus in the quest to convince FPG to stop using the deadly cursors, but that failed miserably due to the crawlers not knowing the users’ language that well. Lungs of the species became more efficient, allowing for faster movement. This species also helped Deus in learning how to use a forum account.

Mutations: Study the account, Convince the users (2/6)
Deus decided that in this situation, it should seek out to end the AI cursors once and for all. It first learned a lot about the account controls, with aid from the crawlers. Then it tried to convince the users to abandon their stances against the forum creatures and join the fight against the worm - while at first it looked like the talks would end in a failure, the cat-beasts came in rescue and even though they don’t have the best brains, they still pushed the talks into a success. Soon after FPG’s dissolution, the same would happen with CPO, with CPO-RC now simply becoming the RC. User Hunting Pressure is no more, and the users themselves can now be seen as allies of the covenant…

- Small Mistworm-aligned Herbivore + Parasite
Mutations: Stronger Hydro-Minions (+1 Strenght), Damage the Injector (2/6), Damage the Anti-Mist (6/6)
MA: (Rolled 2/4) Distract the covenant
C. Caligovermis’s minions are now far stronger than before. The species failed at damaging the injector, but it had success in damaging the anti-mist, disabling it until [ROUND 39].
The mistworm ordered this species to distract the covenant, which it has done rather poorly.

M1: extend [selling the body] into turning the matter in things the wall crabs are making contact with into either its soul form, or pure soul energy ([selling the held])
M2: perform a ritual to give the users a mutation (if i get to choose what it is, a new cursor mode that acts like a weapon of the user’s choice)
M3: use the mutavenom form to attack the mistworm
@doomlightning @CatSquared @Bontopia13 @fralegend015 I need your votes

Mutation 1: Find a way to get energy from the hardware of the forum’s servers instead of from letters.
Mutation 2: use the computer souls to create a mist destroying program.
Mutation 3: use the injector to inject the mist destroying program.
Covenant mutations: Attack the mist.
