Good point. But there is still more potential power from worship. And avatars can allow the Devourer to channel its power to attack from afar

I wonder if doom too has ambitions of raising a god in this FG before it ends

M1: start worshipping Deus as the God of Gods, machines, intelligence, and wisdom
M2: start worshipping the first Nd. cogitangi to be fully integrated with GE metal as the god of all metals, with the power to bless people with GE metal for bones and claws
M3: souls can use their ‘soul code’ (the part of their energy that contains them) to make new souls

I will say that the two NPC covenant members will also be getting gods on round 48

Edit: @fralegend015 I need your votes.

Mutation 1: Study the mistorb in order to be able to create false command signals (but keep this knowledge a secret for now).

Mutation 2: Create a secret DM in which to put the mistvault.

Mutation 3: Utilize the GE metal and phylacteries to design robots.

Cov mutations:

Teakinges: Use the robots designs to create construction robots.

Doom: Construct a false mistvault in the place of the old one.

Catsquared: Study the general state of the mist.

Darren: Use the robot designs to create Warbots.

Willow: Secretly transport the real mistvault to the secret DM.

Round 48 - Year 4, Month 2

The mistorb’s position has been artificially shifted, and the swarmlings are becoming a serious threat

MISTORB STATUS:

-??? HP
-Can no longer send orders to D. Bontopius, it’s only remaining species ally and a fief
-Cannot do much itself in this form
-The Mistorb Vault built around it serves as a container and a barrier
-The Trench built around it a decoy vault serves as an offensive and defensive position in case of a breach of the Vault made to validify the status of the decoy vault as the true one.

DARKBLUR STATUS:

-3/5 HP
-Insanely fast, can scale hundreds of posts in seconds
-Not much is known about it’s appearance
-Hasn’t shown off it’s offensive abilities (if it has any)
-In control of D. Bontopius

Species

NPC - Sapiepoda TeaKinges, “The Crawler” - HO

  • Medium Omnivore

Mutations: Soul Transfer (+1 Strenght), Warrior God (+1 Strenght), Soul Regeneration (+1 Stealth)
DM: Construction Robots

S. TeaKinges civilization, seeing the current trends of seeding god-like entities, decided to take that path aswell, developing an ability to transfer souls between individuals and regenerate what remains of the transfering one’s soul, with the rule being that the more soul matter has an individual absorbed, the more skilled and overall “powerful” would they become. Not long after most of the most highly praised warriors this species has to offer merged into one individual - The Warrior God

Deus meanwhile ordered this species to develop brand-new construction robots with the help of some new technologies, also made by Deus.

@doomlightning - Neodichorisare Cogitandi, “Divider” - UC

  • Small Herbivore

Mutations: Metal Fusion (+1 Strenght), Energy Efficiency (+1 Speed), C. Venenatorum Mutation: Metal God (+1 Strenght)
DM: False Mistvault

Nd. Cogitandi developed the GE metal abilities of it’s even more, making every member of the species enriched with metalic implants. Not only that, thanks to these implants the energy consumed for every individual has decreased, leading to them being able to attain higher speeds while running.
Deus had this species develop and build a decoy mistvault, which would be put to use not long after it was finished

At the same time some of the wall crabs started to worship the most metal-infused divider as the god of all metals, quickly leading to that individual becoming the god of the species which once rose from the dead

This species suffered quite significant population loss due to attacks of D. Bontopius

  • Tiny Omnivore

Mutations: Thrall Hunt (6/6, +1 Strenght), Devourer Cult (+1 Strenght), Word Consumption (+1 Strenght)
DM: Study The Mist (5/6)

The Devourer ordered the Thralls to attack the swarmlings, and even through the mist-aligned species quickly recovered it’s population, the devourer gained what is wished to. Soon after that, the god of the cat beasts turned it’s attention to becoming a god in eyes of the wall crabs. As so it had some of them create a cult-like following around itself, leading to a significant power increase. But creature hunts might not be a reliable source of power for the hungry entity, and with that in mind it took to the PMs and asked some users to write lots of words for it to eat

The recovering, sapient population of the cat beasts was asked by Deus to conduct a study on the soon-to-be-moved mistorb, in order to check what’s going on inside. Despite relatively few researchers coming from the still small populace, they managed to discover that an yet another blob of mass has been created inside the orb, this time around however it was located right at the top of the mistorb, with the shell in this region of the sphere being thinner. It’s unclear however when exactly will this blob breach the orb

NPC - Paucipoda Narrenists, “Darren” - OP

  • Huge Omnivore

Mutations: Warfare Infusion (+1 Strenght), Bio-Ammo (+1 Strenght), Warfare God (+1 Strenght)
DM: Warbots (+1 Strenght)

M. Narrenists were no less shy to follow in suit of god creation than other species, developing methods to fuse a darren with weapons and making the bodies of these “hybrids” produce ammo to fuel whatever weapons they are carrying. In the end the efforts of the scientists were focused on creating a single individual with the most impressive and powerful set of weaponry, and it didn’t take long to make it a reality

Deus, having recently developed robotics, suggested militarization of this new invention to the darrens. They obviously took the chance and in a matter of a week or two robots equipped with all sorts of weapons started circling the forum

Darkblur - Dichorisare Bontopius, “The Swarm” - OP

  • Medium Mist-Aligned Omnivore, Controlled by Darkblur

Mutations: Inedibles Slaughter (+1 Strenght), Advantagetaking (can attack a species if it only has 1 base stat above the swarms’ ones), More Anti-Covenant Protection (-1 Covenant population damage)
DBM: Darksilk (+1 Strenght)

D. Bontopius swarms turned even more relentless as they now will actively slaughter species even if they can’t eat the fallen bodies. Alongside that, this species will now attack all species above which the swarm is in two bases statistics. Lastly, feeling that these developments might cause more offensive actions from the covenant, even more protection against it was developed.
Darkblur upgraded the venomous silk this species produces, having it work in tandem with other “dark abilities” this species gained over the recent times

The Devourer sent large thrall armies to feast on this species, and while they claimed many lives of the swarmlings, themselves still recovering from the cybernuclear strikes, the species as a whole quickly recovered.

Nd. Cogitandi - (5/6, -2 Conversation Points) - The Swarmlings finally took to take their first blood, which would end up being a species they’re diverging from

M. Cat-Bestiae - (3/6, -1 Conversation Point) - After the dividers came the time to take on the tiny but fiercy cat-beasts. While less successful than the previous raid, this one still put the devourer’s species at a grave danger of extinction

Paucipoda Narrenists - (3/6, -1 Conversation Point) - After killing off a bunch of “forum cats”, time came for many of the darrens to perish. This time however the impact was much smaller than for the previous hunt’s victims

F. Spiritusvivi - (3/6, -1 Conversation Point) - The species from which the covenant’s master comes was too not spared and also suffered some population losses

C. Venenatorum - (1/6, no hunt happens) - The wall crabs’ gods and their vengeful abilities caused too much frigh for the swarms to hunt them, delaying an attack directed at that species yet again

Mutations: Mistorb Signal Study (4/6), Mistvault PM, Robots (+1 Strenght), C. Venenatorum Mutation: Deus Worship (+1 Strenght)

Deus decided to study the mistorb’s signals which were being used by it for communication with other mistdom members. Eventually Deus acquired enough knowledge to be able to produce false signals. Soon after that the archmage god would order some users to create a new PM where the mistvault with the mistorb inside would go. Lastly, with the new machinery technologies, Deus managed to design universal robots at the disposal of the covenant.
The wall crabs started to worship Deus, causing this god to gain some strenght

The anti-mistworm upgraded itself yet again, giving significantly larger benefits to members of the covenant.

This species suffered some population loss due to attacks of D. Bontopius

Mutations: Deus Worship, Metal God Worship, Soul Reproduction (+1 Stealth)
DM: Mistvault Transport

C. Venenatorum started helping other species with their gods, first starting to worship Deus and then allowing the dividers to establish their own god. The souls of this species can also now bud in a way to create new souls.
Deus had this species transport the mistvault with the dangerous mistorb inside into a brand-new PM designed for holding the true vault as a decoy one was installed at the mistworm resting grounds. While requiring the highest water-god and other lesser deities aid, the whole operation ended up being a huge success, taking place at the precise moment when no users were around to witness the replacement.

M1: speed multiplication(from time dilation)
M2: worship powers spread to species’ with gods worshipped by C. venenatorum

I didn’t say this as no one tried going above this, but you can only have a single multiplier bonus at a time. Which the wallcrabs already have for strenght.

i already have 2?
*2 for strength, *2.5 for stealth?
in that case though, faster legs to stay faster than d. bontopius

It’s 0,5 for strenght, look in the wallcrab mutation list.

huh, i was going based off of this

also shouldn’t my UU stat be higher due to the cursor upgrades and chatrooms?

Perhaps, but more specific mutations would be needed to raise the UU.

  1. Get Wall Crabs to Worship the Devourer as a God of Death and Souls
  2. Clone Wall Crabs and Cat Beasts as cultists, with souls un harvested

How do you think devourer looks like?

Edit: @doomlightning @fralegend015

Mutation 1: Dense energy nodes - energy nodes but with more energy

Mutation 2: Command construction robots to build a laborathory in the Mistvault PM, it needs to be big enough to be used by the Devourer too.

Cov mutations:

Teakinges: Optimize the warbots for mass production.

Doom: Construct checkpoints surrounding covenant inhabited areas in order to protect covenant members from attacks.

Catsquared: Move to the mistvault PM in order to hide them from attacks.

Darren: Use the dense energy nodes for stronger cybernukes.

Willow: Aid in the construction of the checkpoints.

Are you going to try and tweak the devourer in some way so that it gets upgraded into a superior form?

  1. Augment farther the power of the GE to the skin, .ake its unpenetratablrle
  2. Help using GE to asend crab wall to his usfull place in here, the panthon of sapient

Wall crabs only have 2.5 brain tiers, you need 4 tiers to become sapient and the ge upgrade’d give only +1 tier. But okay I guess. Nearly sapient but not quite

No, I’m going to modify the mistorb. (The devourer will study it)
