Good.
@doomlightning @willow you two can submit your mutations so that I can write the 3rd round just this week

M1: thicker GE metal cell walls
M2: experiment with teleporting small, inanimate objects out of the forum, to 3 set links, one of which leads to a blank page
M3: sessile reproductive caste(amount of digesters feeding it determines the size and rate of egg laying, separate from queens)

How do you feel about the actions being taken towards the other-forum biotas?

  1. more integrating GE to every allien force
  2. improve visions of GE using… visions

I think that they mivht not have souls or have developped very different souls, because Deus is the one thay created souls in the forums.

Round 52 - Year 4, Month 6

While most of this month went relatively quiet, with the new groups calming down a bit following their louder creation, a certain event would change that - one day far into this month some users reported that the background of the forum took on maroon colors for a minute or two before it eventually faded away into the usual cyan. This was too seen by many critters all across the website. A few dozen minutes after that, some users aligned with the mistdom came forward, saying that something so horrible happened that all the mistdom members quit supporting the biota group - Gamernicegames, an user rather well-known for their alignment with the mistdom, recently spent a lot of time with the darkblur, which found it’s way into the PM chat of around the dozen remaining mist-loyal users. This day however, they would spend a lot of time with the blur in an one-user PM with the blur. As other members of the “dark truth forces”, as they called themselves prior to the incident, started to worry what has Gamernicegames been up to, they came back and sent an image of two corpses of real people lying on the floor in some flat, with the blood of those corpses used to create a blood circle on the ground fitting just between the corpses, and inside the circle was a strange figure made, presumably, of the organs of the slain two, with the gruesome photo being captioned, and I quote, “I am ready to become one with The Blessed Knight.”. This photo was apparently sent just a few minutes before the forum went maroon, but by the time Henry, the forum administrator, went to check the PM, the photo was nowhere to be seen… much like rest of the PM, which appeared to have been completely ravaged by some entity. As a result of the incident, the mistdom lost the few last loyal users it had, now not having any users on it’s side anymore.
A day after the incident, reports started coming from the users of the forum, especially the former mistdom-aligned users, which like many other users noticed that the blur has grown larger this month, but unlike them, those users which have witnessed the horrid photo at times saw the blur stop and rotate to look upwards when it found itself in the same thread such a user was just looking at. When staying still in such a position, it became easy to see that the blur around the figure has turned thinner, allowing the mistdom-abandoners to see the figure inside rather clearly - it was some sort of a nightmarish hybrid between the mistworm, a human, and, strangely enough, Disturbance, a prominent artpiece which represented Prosper. But the scariest detail about the figure were it’s “eyes” - they appeared to lead deep inside the “knight”, having teeth jot their outer edges, but that’s not everything - some of the mistdom-aligned users which have seen the face of Gamernicegames have sworn that they could recognize their face in this horrific hybrid, especially deep inside the eyes they saw the eyes of who used to be their close friend, even if just an online one…

MISTORB STATUS:

-??? HP
-Cannot do much itself in this form, especially as Deus now controls it in a huge part
-The Mistorb Vault built around it serves as a container and a barrier
-Located in the Mistvault PM, alongside the M. Cat-Bestiae Populace and The Laboratory

DARKBLUR STATUS:

-15/15 HP (Regenerates 1 HP per Month[Round])
-Insanely fast, can scale hundreds of posts in seconds
-Appears to be a dark sphere with a disturbing, pseudo-humanoid figure inside
-Hasn’t shown off it’s offensive abilities (if it has any)
-The De Facto Leader of The (Compromised) Mistdom at the present
-Fused with the soul of a rather obsessed mistdom-aligned user

Species

NPC - Sapiepoda TeaKinges, “The Crawler” - HO

  • Medium Omnivore

Mutations: Warrior Tournaments X 2 (+2 Strenght), Refined Techniques (+1 Stealth)
DM: Checkpoint Portals (+1 B Speed)

S. TeaKinges, having given birth to many generations of warriors ever since the creation of the warrior-god, started to suffer from lack of competition to push those warriors into improving their scores. As so, the warrior-god proposed a plan to start organizing species-wide tournaments with the goal of having the best of the best warriors come out ontop, also giving a reason for rising stars in the warrior realm to continue their path towards “greater power”. Alongside the organization of the first few tournaments also came the advent of new techniques, making the skilled fighters this species has at use even harder to detect if they don’t wish to be seen.
Seeing much potential in the portal technology invented by the crawlings, Deus had them adapt the portals for faster transport of various goods, physical and not, between the many checkpoints dotting the forum. This will also make the divisions stationed at checkpoint groups be able to develop faster and in a more coordinated tandem.

@doomlightning - Neodichorisare Cogitandi, “Divider” - HO

  • Small Herbivore

Mutations: GEM Integration (+1 Strenght to ALL covenant species), GEM Visions (+1 Strenght)
DM: Deus-Outsiders Dialogue Aid (3/6)

Nd. Cogitandi decided to integrate the fabled metal more deeply into the glorious alliance the covenant is, sharing more GEM than ever to it’s brethen from the alliance. Pretty much all metal used in the alliance nowadays comes from the divider population centers, which proudly use energy to produce the metal in exchange for respect gained in the eyes of other covenant species. However, despite being glorious, the metal could use even more upgrades, which’d make it holy even. By eating certain funny substances, some of the divider researchers claim to have been through visions of superior GEM types, which have shown them the true, final potential the material has. Even since these strange seeings, some of those “dream-esque” GEM types started popping up in divider population centres, proving themselves there as being of higher quality and strenght.
God of Archmages meanwhile requested some of the dividers to come over and help itself in it’s communication attempts with the recently discovered biotas-beyond-the-forum, themselves being a result of the ark program launched by Deus 8 whole months ago. While it certainly could’ve gone better, these individuals did infact make the dialogue a bit easier to carry out for Deus…

@CatSquared - Multipoda Cat-Bestiae, “Cat Beasts” - ID

  • Tiny Omnivore

Mutations: Better AP System (+1 Strenght), AP Hunt X 2 (5/6, 2/6, +2 Strenght)
DM: Species Creation Research (3/6)

M. Cat-Bestiae cultist, devoted entirely to The Devourer, became highly interested in using the realms beyond the forum as “devouring grounds” which their holy lord could use to grow in power even further. As so, they salvaged the Ark Program originally used by Deus and, through a dozen days of hard work, modified it to send avatars of The Devourer instead of “Species Spores” to other websites, being fully functional in their purpose of devouring entire biotas. There was no hesitation - just a day after it was completed, the new, deadly arks were launched with their goals being other, creature-infested forums. While for a few days it wasn’t known what may’ve happened to those angels of death, soon enough they would return and give themselves away for The Devourer to absorb what they’ve hunted - as it appears, they caused serious damage in two-thirds of the biotas, and out of those they completely devoured a third of all biotas to the last critter. Excited by the success of the new ark program, a new batch of devourers was sent, however that one didn’t meet as much success as the previous one, with mostly the-most-damaged-but-still-surviving biotas falling to the avatars, making an estimated 50% of total extra-prosper-forum biospheres extinct as the biotas seem to have learnt how to deal with, to them, alien attacks, better than before, but they were also reported to be integrating faster than before with this danger present, with the estimations now being that each biota will unify into a single entity a month earlier than previously calculated, that being a month from now…
Deus meanwhile ordered some of the cultists not involved in the slaughters of the extra-forumal biotas to research the ways of species creation. The results of this research however are not enough to guarantee that serious attempts at creation of new species will succeed… Infact, at the current level of knowledge, they are more likely to fail than to limp on despite the setbacks.

NPC - Paucipoda Narrenists, “Darren” - HO

  • Huge Omnivore

Mutations: GEM Drones (+1 Strenght), Replicating Drones (+1 Strenght), Drone Swarms (+1 Strenght)
DM: Dematerialized Travel (+1 B Speed)

M. Narrenists, as already was expected the last month, heavily invested in the drone technologies, with many good suggestions inflowing from the passionate users being finally turned into reality inside the forum. First of all, using the glorious metal of the divider kin, the darrens managed to make the drones far more durable than before, being able to take on stronger impacts. Having them made from a single type of material however also opened up ways of mass drone replication, it didn’t take long before the darrenlings figure out the technologies necessary for a single drone to turn a large lump of GEM into dozens of new drones ready to take action. And with so many new machines in the skies, the researchers at the disposal of the Paucipodal armies prepared the systems installed onboard the drones to operate in dangerous swarms, making any enemy daring to enter it, in any way, feel like being inside a swarm of hornets… or rather, 1000 times worse and more likely to die inside such a swarm of the glorious, yet tiny machines…
Deus, seeing potential for making the various vehicles and other machines produced by the darren kin faster, shared the knowledge of dematerialization and rematerialization to the scientists of Paucipoda, which soon enough applied the given knowledge to pretty much all the machines operated by the armies of Narrenists, having them disappear in one place only to reappear farther away a few moments later…

Mutations: Thread Movement Code and Injection (5/6), Other-Forum Creature Communication (4/6)

Wishing to gain more control over the forum, Deus personally designed a special code which would control the creatures’ (and other entities’) movements between the many threads of the forum, being able to isolate specific threads if in need of doing so. The injection of this code went without a hitch, with the new modification achieving all the goals it’s been assigned for achieving. More interesting to Deus, however, were the creatures beyond the forum, created by the Ark Program. With some aid from the dividers, Deus would be able to send some messages to those locations using it’s own version of the Ark Program, but carrying messages instead of souls made to seed new species. While it was not easy to determine what exactly did the creatures beyond the forum say back, as they seem to have only recently become advanced enough to communicate using words, after 2 weeks or so a few loyal MwTC users finally cracked the code, revealing that those critters might’ve infact asked whenever or not was Deuses home forum attacked by the mysterious “Devouring Spirits” aswell, as each forum had the memories of those beings hammered deep into their identities, surely not to be forgotten anytime soon - that’s what the dividers helped to uncover from the messages send back, as all of them had a similar tone and meaning.
In the few last days of the month, Deus started to feel like the vassalization soul inside the orb began weakening - could the dark orb be preparing to free itself in the future?

Mutations: Thicker GEM Cellwalls (+1 Strenght), Teleportation Experiment (4/6), SRC (+1 Strenght)
DM: More Checkpoints

C. Venenatorum have upgraded upon their recently developed cellwalls made of the holy metal of the divider brethen from the Strong Alliance, which make the bones and other hard structures inside of a wallcrab’s body way more durable than before. Not just that, a new caste was recently developed, which might look like a queen, but it’s in reality completely sessile! This sessile reproductive caste, as the Research Community persons have named it, supplies the hives of the crabs with many members, making them stronger as a result.
Whilist the archmage god, Deus, ordered the crustaceans of the postsides to build many new checkpoints across the forum to make the covenant assert more control over this website, a group of Venenatorid researchers and scientists came together to execute an experiment using the Sapiepoda-derived portals and inanimate objects, with the goal being to teleport such an object beyond the forum and back. Not long would the preparations take, and three weeks into this month the active phase of the trial would take place, resulting in… nothing new. Users which gathered at the site where the objects were supposed to teleport to didn’t even notice anything changing. In the end, a conclusion was reached: It’s truly impossible for physical beings and things to leave the forum, even with portals and unimaginable just a few years ago power at disposal.

hmmmmm, only physical entities?

M1: attempt to move the code of a queen and some workers, all in soul form, to an obscure twitter thread
M2: self sufficient souls

When did you get the idea of turning your species into a cult?

If you research how to create a new species you can create a thrall species that won’t fight back.

Isn’t the base M. Cat-Bestiae species pretty much already fullfilling that function, or did cat^2 intend to completely change them into cultists with no way back into thrallhood??

If I create sapient robots do I get a new covenant member to which I can apply covenant mutations?

Yes but the robots themselves won’t have any mutations of their own (since they’re robots, duh).

Can Deus expand outside of the forums since he isn’t physical?

You’ll find out once the wallcrab experiments’ have finished.

Mutation 1: Reinforce the vassalizzation soul in the mistorb.

Mutation 2: Make the mistorb tell me everything it knows about interactions between cyberspace and real-space (Basically how it is possible that the magician-users created it and that the darkblur merged with the user soul)

Cov mutations:

Teakinges: Improve the machine souls by making them capable of using physical processing apparatuses to improve their intelligence.

Doom: Create processing hardware for robots.

Catsquared: Stop the hunts.

Darren: Develop propulsion systems designed for lifting heavy weights.

Willow: Estabilish communication protocols with the outsiders in order to facilitate communications.
