an idea for balancing it is making it use micro-bees that replace dead cells with their own cells, and repair mortal wounds the same way, then restart vital functions, meaning the longer a fighter has been dead, the more jelly is needed to revive them, but fighters that don’t have an immune system that will attack the micro-bees are harder to kill while it’s in their system

What do you plan to do with the tunnel which is being dug towards the main hive?
expand the hive through it, probably leave a gap about 4-8 tiles wide in case either side catches fire
i plan to effectively make this entire valley into one giant hive, and i’m probably gonna hollow out some boulders to turn them into hives as well
oh and if a single hive catches fire, it should probably make a 2 tile radius spot that’s on fire for about 4 rounds, due to how flammable molten beeswax is
which would add a danger element to having so many hives and let me strategically burn hives to deal fire damage!

I don’t think you’ll have enough time to turn the entire valley into a hive…
action 1: infiltrate the mind of an enemy, listening in on incoming information to find the new network
action 2: study how enemies I spied on previously changed, in order to make my intrusion harder to detect

You mean west? You cannot go further east.
BATTLE 1 - TURN 21
Somnium tried to infiltrate the mind of an another enemy, connected to the new network. It appears that this network will be harder to infiltrate. However, just as somnium was studying the changes this network has to the previous one, all the belgium-blobs disappeared…
Waterzooi moved west after meeting the eastern wall, then recharged some energy. It felt that something massive appeared to the west of itself…
Loki used the hive’s powers to heal itself fully, restoring the healthy state of the swarms prior to first damages. The hive swarm expanded the hive… The ex-western swarm dug east, managing to reach the main hive. The corpse-carrying swarm deposited the remains of the stoned foe in the hive. It also picked up some of the remains it lost on the way to the hive, in the end moving a bit back to give some room to breathe for the hive-builder swarm The guarding swarm took parts of the ex-possessed blob and took them to the small hive. Some bees were produced too, and they will stay at this hive, being able to be released to replace their dead brethen if needed.
You haven’t lost your hopes up to this point?
If so… prepare to fight such a defender that
You’ll have no chance winning against, Earthlings…
All the enemies present on the battlefields suddenly vanished! But in their place descended one large foe, arriving in between Waterzooi and Loki’s Guard Swarm… It’s far larger than any blob seen previously by the Terran Fighters…
(+1 XP to Somnium, +3 XP to Loki, +1 Energy to Waterzooi, Loki’s HP maxed out)

DESCRIPTION:
STATISTICS:
STEALTH: 20
SPEED: 20
STRENGHT: 10 Normal Strenght, 10 Control Strenght
HEALTH: 20/20 + Partial Protection (Abilities)
EXPERIENCE: 50
ABILITIES:
PASSIVE:
Memory Attack: Can only be damaged by enemies who attack the idea of it’s existance (50% chance to miss attacks)
Disembodied: Doesn’t have a body for self, relies on puppets to interact with the world. The Puppets inherit their own statistics. Your own statistics are separate from them.
ACTIVE:
Pupeteer: If Control Strenght is higher than any strenght an enemy has, they can be pupeteed. MAX amount of puppets = 5.
(Before you Puppet anything, you can infect an enemy like an invisible parasite ghost, in that state you can’t damage the enemies)
PASSIVE:
Equilibrium Zone: Energetic and Kinetic attacks are weakened if they are within this zone, regenerates energy if such attack is commited
Dimension Weaver: When Hit an enemy, temporarily adds the best advantage to The Fighter (Lasts until the fight with this/those entity/entities ends)
E=MC2: Special Energy Statistic which measures how many Active Abilities can you cast.
ACTIVE:
Genetic Manipulation: Can Modify an enemy’s genome, changing it’s statistics, abilities and even alignment. You need to first inspect an enemy in order to use this ability.
MISC.:
Other Stuff
10 XP can add 5 points to a statistic,
100 XP can add an advantage/ability OR upgrade an already existing advantage/ability.
Fight will include cube dice rolls:
1- You miss
2- Strikes a worse area
3- Strikes a worse area
4- Strikes as expected
5- Strikes as expected
6- Strikes critical area
Damage is affected by the rolls of the dice, and is closely tied to strenght.
Various strenght types to various things (control S. allows for control of enemies, distance S. allows to hit enemies from further away.)
Damage drains Health.
If you have more stealth than an enemy, you will be able to attack them from surprise, giving you a lot larger chance of critical hit.
Speed determines how fast can you cast actions - at 20 speed it’s 2 actions/sub-round, and it scales as +10 speed = +1 action/subround, easy to understand. (Too overpowered)
A1: guard swarm: find the big blob’s rock limit[1] by pushing rocks of progressively larger mass off the mountain onto it. swarms south of hive: merge and enter hive, and elect a queen to make more bees. tunnel swarm: rush to the other side of the tunnel
A2: guard swarm: if the new foe’s rock limit has not been found, continue to test it. hive swarm: make rock and beeswax walls only passable through bee sized holes to protect hive. tunnel swarm: rush towards the new enemy
obviously, that’s like trying to infinitely recycle a tree when there’s no sunlight, it’ll do a lot to keep the population from dropping too quickly tho
