The Great Belgiuming (April Fools Forum Game)

The big blob cannot have genetic manipulation ability used on it.

I am rejective that meaning
use it on one of the loki clone

Well then the dimendional weaver action becomes pretty useless

action 1: “feel” for the mind of this new foe

action 2: infiltrate said foe’s mind

Uhh I’m afraid that no loki swarm is near enough for you to be able to use GM on it. You can’t use GM while there is a wall between you and the target aswell.

i see
soo better to rechage again

You want to use your 2nd action to recharge too? Since without GM it’s pretty useless.

BATTLE 1 - TURN 22

Somnium tried to grasp for the mind of the newly descended enemy, however it seems to be very well protected, beyond what Somnium could possibly infiltrate…

Waterzooi decided to rest for a while in this battle, regaining 2 whole energy points!

The wall-guarding swarm of Loki’s decided to test the limits of the large blob…
(Rolled 3/6)
While some damage was done, the belgium-blob stayed strong and attacked back!
(Rolled 6/6)
The Guard swarm has been destroyed!
The swarm which was busy delivering more corpse fragments and the swarm which built the hive merged into one, entered the hive and took some action to regenerate what was lost from the death of the guardian swarm. After that, it made the entrance to the hive less accesible for large foes…
The big enemy moved towards the guard hive and attacked it!
(Rolled 4/6)
This attack was much weaker than the previous one, but it still just barely managed to get the hive and the bees within destroyed! However, right after that the tunnel-digging swarm came and striked the quite destructive enemy!
(Rolled 1/6)
Well, that was embarrassing…

(+1 XP to Somnium, +1 XP to Waterzooi, +2 XP to Loki, -7 (-10 + 3) HP to Loki, +2 Energy to Waterzooi)

10 XP can add 5 points to a statistic,
100 XP can add an advantage/ability OR upgrade an already existing advantage/ability.

Fight will include cube dice rolls:
1- You miss
2- Strikes a worse area
3- Strikes a worse area
4- Strikes as expected
5- Strikes as expected
6- Strikes critical area

Damage is affected by the rolls of the dice, and is closely tied to strenght.
Various strenght types to various things (control S. allows for control of enemies, distance S. allows to hit enemies from further away.)

Damage drains Health.

If you have more stealth than an enemy, you will be able to attack them from surprise, giving you a lot larger chance of critical hit.

Speed determines how fast can you cast actions - at 20 speed it’s 2 actions/sub-round, and it scales as +10 speed = +1 action/subround, easy to understand. (Too overpowered)

A1: hive swarm: have some of the bees turn into a living catapult, entrance swarm: bait the large enemy away from the valley

A2: hive swarm: load the catapult with a small hive sized lump of beeswax and rocks, entrance swarm: attempt to get the enemy stuck between some small boulders

By “small hive sized” you mean the size of 1 pixel, right? Because the bees can’t carry loads much heavier than that.

Edit: @doomlightning @Ferrus_coloni I need your votes.

BATTLE 1 - TURN 23

Somnium decided to help it’s ally fighters after quite a while, having their perception of time slowed (increasing their reaction speeds) and making them feel less exhausted…

Waterzooi decided to go north and see if anything is hiding there. After going some distance, this fighter stretched it’s sight to see further through the fog present around the arena. And in this region, they detected… nothing, just a few more boulders and toxic gas near the hostile side of the boulder field…

The hive swarm of Loki’s has turned into a living catapult of sorts and ended up being ready to launch a payload of hardened beeswax and rocks at the large foe…
The valley entrance swarm meanwhile was busy having the Big Belgium-blob go away from the hive. It passed just by a huge boulder and made it’s path go through narrow paths between that mountain of a boulder and two smaller boulders, hoping to get the enemy stuck…
(Rolled 2/6, 3/6)
It however seems like the luck was on the foe’s side, as it’s been following the distracting swarm step in step…

(+2 XP to Somnium, +1 XP to Waterzooi, +2 XP to Loki)
