BATTLE 1 - TURN 24
Somnium attempted to infiltrate the mind of the large foe and disrupt it’s activities, however this fighter would come to discover that the last enemy of this battle possesses rather good anti-infiltration/disruption defense mechanisms. Still, some damage should’ve been done to the big belgium-blob’s focus… Waterzooi meanwhile decided to take a turn towards the thicket of the strange fog by the eastern wall of the arena. It would also try to help Loki while the gas started to damage it, but being so far, the aid was to no avail… Loki’s Catapult swarm at the same time would put some shiny rocks into the boulder ready to be launched, as the swarm thinks they will ignite the big foe when they hit it. After the collection, the living structure would move to the tunnel’s entrance on the valley-entrance side, just waiting to fullfill it’s purpose… The “bait swarm” meanwhile would fly between two next gaps which could trap the unfortunately large hostile betweem the bouldersides… (Rolled 2/6, 6/6) While the first gap was no problem to the belgium-blob, the second one between two smaller boulders turned out to be way harder to pass, temporarily putting a stop to the foe, in a position where it can be striked easily by the catapult…

Other Stuff
10 XP can add 5 points to a statistic,
100 XP can add an advantage/ability OR upgrade an already existing advantage/ability.
Fight will include cube dice rolls:
1- You miss
2- Strikes a worse area
3- Strikes a worse area
4- Strikes as expected
5- Strikes as expected
6- Strikes critical area
Damage is affected by the rolls of the dice, and is closely tied to strenght.
Various strenght types to various things (control S. allows for control of enemies, distance S. allows to hit enemies from further away.)
Damage drains Health.
If you have more stealth than an enemy, you will be able to attack them from surprise, giving you a lot larger chance of critical hit.
Speed determines how fast can you cast actions - at 20 speed it’s 2 actions/sub-round, and it scales as +10 speed = +1 action/subround, easy to understand. (Too overpowered)
A1: catapult: LAUNCH THE WAX! CRUSH THE BLOB! bait swarm: fly north, onto a boulder
A2: catapult: reset and reload, bait swarm: make a tiny bow in the middle of the swarm, load it with flint, and fire at any parts of the wax that aren’t lit,

I guess it must feel weird for what used to be a regular human to be operating 2 swarms of bees separated by a large distance…
probably, but i’d imagine the individual swarms have their own consciousness that gets created(by copying from the parent swarm) when they split off of another swarm, so the more limited bandwidth between swarms can be used for coordination, rather than for thinking, which requires more bandwidth

And I guess their memories are merged when the swarms come together?
Action 2: optimize Loki’s mental functions, making them able to more effectively take advantage of their “Numerous bees” form(s?)

All other blobs left and the big one is the only one standing now. Also you’re too far away to use your skills on any entity even after you’ve moved waterzooi westwards.

You sure it won’t be better to head towards Loki’s bait swarm? There’s nothing but more boulders (probably) to discover in the areas north of where the big one is being fought.

What exactly are you suggesting, Mr. Aa?
You’ve given me an idea, thanks. I can go to Loki’s swarm and hide behind the boulders.

Do you want just to head to the bait swarm’s location?
congratulations on achieving the true highest rank in the forums: being called by the duplicated letter your name starts with. you are the second person to achieve this as far as I know

Is this supposed to be an analogy to “Mr. Hh”?
BATTLE 1 - TURN 25
Somnium spend it’s efforts trying to continue the assault on the large foe’s mind, the enemy itself balanced the increased intensity of the new attack by adapting to the source the attack is coming from, effectively leading to the same result as if the mental attack was the same. After being done with attacking the large belgium-blob, Somnium would also aid Loki’s swarms, making their elements coordinate their moves faster, making the entire swarms… quicker. Waterzooi noticed that they might’ve taken a wrong course and started heading where Somnium told them the bait swarm of Loki’s was… Loki’s Catapult readied itself, launching the large boulder it’s been carrying with the force stored by the many bees of the swarm making up the structure… (Rolled 4/6) The boulder took an expected route, striking the enemy! While a critical strike was prevented, a huge amount of damage was still done, through the foe didn’t die yet. It doesn’t seem like the burning chunks of rock will eleminate it fully too, through some damage from it will be taken aswell… Nevertheless, the Catapult started preparing a new attack, too aimed at this final enemy. The bait swarm meanwhile decided to climb a steep-yet-small boulder in order to gain height over the hit foe. It was ready to shoot flint shards at the belgium-blob, when suddenly the eyes of The Great Belgiumer appeared just above the swarm, with the entity seemingly shouting at it:
Have you not figured out the warning I sent to you before?!
NO BOULDER CLIMBING!
Suddenly a terrible, dark hand and arm emerged from the space close to the eyes and swooped upon the swarm below, which itself froze still… It didn’t even stand a chance against the hand of The Great Belgiumer, as not even fragments to scavenge remained of the bees making it up.
