The Great Belgiuming (April Fools Forum Game)

BATTLE 1 - TURN 5

Loki’s both swarms go towards each other and merge briefly into the humanoid form, before turning back into one large bee swarm! At the same time, Enkefaros started going towards the other side of the map, but they ended up encountering three Belgium-blobs! At the same time Waterzooi also met those enemies in other section of the boulder pit… Meanwhile, Somnium was trying to feel the minds of the enemies, but the only signals it got was a repeating chain of the word “Belgium”. It also tried to make the fighters look further into the thick mist but it turned out to not be possible for Somnium to make their eyesight better.

Other Stuff

10 XP can add 5 points to a statistic,

Fight will include cube dice rolls:
1- You miss
2- Strikes a worse area
3- Strikes a worse area
4- Strikes as expected
5- Strikes as expected
6- Strikes critical area

Damage is affected by the rolls of the dice, and is closely tied to strenght.
Various strenght types to various things (control S. allows for control of enemies, distance S. allows to hit enemies from further away.)

Damage drains Health.

If you have more stealth than an enemy, you will be able to attack them from surprise, giving you a lot larger chance of critical hit.

Speed determines how fast can you cast actions - at 20 speed it’s 2 actions/sub-round, and it scales as +10 speed = +1 action/subround, easy to understand.

@fralegend015 and @doomlightning I need your fighting votes.

By the way, the Idea of this forum game stemmed from another one I had, that being “Thrive Community Battles”, where the forum users would be transported into an arena and fight various “forum villains”, like kikygames or futur3.

The reason I decided to go with TGBing is because of it’s lore

BATTLE 1 - TURN 6

Somnium, seeing that all two other fighters are now about to fight multiple enemies, decided to override their natural safeguards, causing Enkefaros and Waterzooi to be a lot better at fighting now when they are near foes, it has also made Loki Swarms a lot faster at moving.

Waterzooi meanwhile decided not to immedietly attack the Belgium-blobs, instead they started to spy at one of them, which thanks to lack of movement didn’t notice the strange creature south of them. With enough data gathered, Waterzooi tries to change this foe’s behaviour…
(Rolled 4)
The Belgium-blob starts to vibrate in a strange manner, attracting the attention of other ones nearby… Then, it suddenly became all yellow! It looks like it’s friendly to Waterzooi now, but the other Belgium-blobs are getting ready to attack it…

Enkefaros moved out of the way of the three foes, but soon it unleashed a distance attack…
(Rolled 3)
Despite being hit hard, the enemy lives, albeit with a serious injury.

Loki’s large swarm arrives at the scene and attack the injured foe!
(Rolled 2)
(Rolled 3)
While the insomnia of this fighter, Loki managed to hit the foe lethally killing the Belgium-blob!

+5 XP to Loki, Enkefaros and Waterzooi, +2 XP to Somnium!

am i allowed to turn a swarm that doesn’t contain all my bees into like, a skeleton with just the muscles necessary to do a specific action, and then use my next action to disperse it into bees?

Both actions: focus on accelerating cognitive functions, slowing down the fighters’ perception of time, allowing them to plan their actions in advance

I guess you can do that.

in that case, that is what i will do

BATTLE 1 - TURN 7

Somnium focused all it’s efforts into making other fighters perceive time slower, making them gain more actions…
(At Turn 8 LOKI, ENKEFAROS and WATERZOOI have +1 action)

Waterzooi has sneaked up the the allied blob, attacking a hostile belgium- blob to the right of them!
(Rolled 5/6)
They hit the foe right where they wanted, causing the enemy to die!
(Rolled 5/6)
(Rolled 2/6)
The two remaining belgium-blobs attack the allied blob, causing it to lose some health!
(Allied blob health went down from 10/10 to 2.5/10)
The allied blob hit the belgium- blob just east of them!
(Rolled 6/6)
Despite being heavily injured, the friendly blob managed to cause a blow which killed this foe!
Waterzooi casted another genetic change onto the modified blob, causing it to regain health, albeit now this fighter has used up a portion of it’s energy reserves.
(Allied blob health is now 10/10)

Enkefaros used it’s distance attack to destroy the swarm of belgium-blobs surrounding Loki!
(Rolled 6/6)
(Rolled 5/6)
Two of the blobs have been destroyed, one of which was really oblirated by this attack!

Loki’s big swarm has transformed into a human form, however as not all bees were present on the site it lacks skin. Still, it’s very strong.
While at first worried about being surrounded by 3 foes, the destruction of two of them made this fighter a lot more confident in killing the third one!
(Rolled 1/6)
Sadly, the insomnia caused Loki to be too sleepy to hit the enemy, which hit Loki Instead!
(Rolled 4/6)
The belgium- blob hit Loki where it wanted, causing some damage!
(Loki [as in all it’s swarms] loses 5 health)

It seems like that the eyes have appeared again high above the battlefield, seemingly preparing something which will happen very soon

(+5 XP to Somnium, +7 XP to Waterzooi, +10 XP to Enkefaros)
