yeah but this could be moved manually by deleting this and copy and pasting it to the pm
should i vote for @OoferDoofer?
if so then.
action 1: upgrade tools to copper.
action 2: upgrade arrows to copper.
maybe just skip his turn and next round give him 2 extra global action to make up missing this round
actually it would be 4 as he already has 2 global actions.
edit: oh you already said 2 EXTRA not 2 total.
Okay I think we have decided that we will skip OoferDoofer’s turn and make a new round, then give him two extra actions
Story
Two new nations emerge from the dark, presenting themselves as the Hollow Sandpeople and Kugellandians. Although they may be young, it doesn’t mean that they are negligible. Civilization is right around the corner for one nation, ironically being the one that would normally be extinct in another more familiar timeline. Metallurgy is also starting to take shape all around the world, as tensions rise and alliances form around the new arms race. However this situation plays out, it’s sure to be interesting…

You task your warriors of finding another village they may offer a gift to. After a long trekk, they find a militarised nation presenting themselves as the Marcellians. They are naturally hostile and untrusting of visitors, but lower their guard when you offer them the gift of wall-making. They will no longer be hostile to you. In fact, since they are very militarily focused, the walls have more value to them, so they are now amicable.
You task your farmers and herders to increase their food yields. They come up with a fertilizer by repurposing cattle droppings to improve the soil with nutrients, which in turn increases crop production, raising your population.
Also, you were revisited by the Laestrygonians. Their natural cheery demeanor was instead replaced by a weary and tired figure, suggesting they had to sail for a long time with little rest, as if they were chased off. Their misadventured did not however affect their sales pitch, and before long, you had traded your knowledge of walls for their knowledge of bronze. Your trading also increased your population and your relations with them.

You task the fishing village of Xirimiri to develop a new way of preservation so that the fish may last longer. After leaving a bowl of seawater in the sun, one of them came back to see the water had completely evaporated, leaving small crystalline residue. The dust tasted salty, so he sprinkled it on the meat to see if it would enhance the flavour, but left it out in the sun in a hurry because one of the boats had to be docked. When he came back to the salted fish a few days later, he realised that it hadn’t spoiled, but had instead dried up and shriveled, thanks to the sun and the salt. This new salted meat is preserved for much longer, so you can stock up on more goods during the winter, which increases your population.
The fishermen of the capital didn’t take up smoking, because the plant they burned was pepper leaves, which would burn their lungs and eyes from the smoke.
The rest of the villagers tried to figure out a way to get around that was easier for their feet. They dug the dirt and lined pathways to the different buildings to make dirt roads. These roads are upgradeable, and will give a +2 to infrastructure rolls and If you set up a trade route, it will give +3 to trading rolls.
At first, your villagers were sent to the Bananarama, who promptly chased them off when they refused to trade their bronze. Not wanting to come back empty-handed, the merchants stopped by the Hellenes, who welcomed them as warmly as they could. They traded goods, and in exchange of Laestrygon’s bronze, the Hellenes taught the traders how to build fortifications. All this trading increased population and your relations with the Hellenes.
Congratulations, you now have enough population to go from a nation to a civilisation, entering the civ stage! Imagine, a civilization of Neaderthals…

Result: 13/20 +2 = 15/20, 9/20 +2 = 11/20
You upgrade your furnaces by surrounding the fire with a wall of clay, which, when dried, isolates the heat, helping the flame reach a higher temperature, which can allow you to forge stronger metals.
The animals you sometimes hunt have skins that may be nice on their own, but once tanned, they turn into a robust and flexible leather. You can use this leather to make all sorts of useful items.
Also, some of your nation decided to desert you because of your warmongering and migrated North. They are now known as the Hollow Sandpeople. Because of the split, you have chilly relations.

Action: [30 (Philosopher, Builder, Labourer [6])] Oven, [30 (Fisherman, Herder, Labourer [3])] Food preservation, [30 (Gatherer, Farmer)] Medicine
Result: 17/20 -6 +3 = 14/20, 20/20! -6 +3 = 17/20, 18/20 -6 +3 = 15/20
Your fires weren’t powerful enough to smelt metals as they were, so you tasked your builders, philosophers and labourers to find a way to improve them. THey discovered through experimentation that by blowing on a fire, it can be more powerful, so the team built an oven that with a bag attached to it that you can squeeze to pump air into the fire, making it strong enough to melt basic metals.
Your fishermen catch a lot of fish from the salty ocean, so when they left a clay pot of seawater in the sun and came back to pick it up, they found nothing but a pile of speckles left. The water had evaporated, leaving behind salt, which is tasty on its own, but also very useful to for food preservation. When you salt a fish and dehydrate it, it stays edible longer, which increases your food stores, increasing your population.
Your farmers and gatherers have grown very knowledgeable of plants, and after a bit of studying, they have determined and singled out the ones that can be used for medicinal purposes, which keeps your villagers healthier, increasing your population.
Congratulations, you now have enough population to establish a new village.

Mexica
Leader: Montezuma
Actions: [Global] Ovens
Result: 8/20 +2 +2 = 12/20
Montezuma is impressed that rocks can be in liquid state, as was proven by the beach volcano. It was a very important observation, which led him to task his people to make their fires so powerful, that not even rocks could stay solid! They went to work, tinkering and experimenting, and finally discovered the invigorating properties of air with fire. So, they built a sack which they can squeeze to blow on the fire, so that it may roar with strength and melt the most tenacious of low-tier rocks!

Hollow Sand
Leader: Bizarre Pumpkiin
Actions: [Global] Split off the Bananarama
Result: 17/20
A small group of people were getting tired of Barando’s incessant wars, so they decided to leave the village. The dice roll determined the number of people who left the tribe directly, the rest being random passersby who decided to join the cause. You settle North of his village and establish the village of Hollow Dust, making you the new Hollow Sandpeople. Your technology consists of all of Zen’s technology before the split. Sorry for the longer wait time, the power went out so it took a lot longer. Normally these only take me a little more than 2 hours to do.
Also, do you guys want to wait for everyone to enter civ stage together or have some people be in different stages to be more realistic?
action 1: use the leather to make armor.
action 2: increase the might of our bows.
Thanks for the round!
I’d like everyone to got to the civ stage seperatly, as that would add more challenge and responsibility
So the new people become either farmers or fishers, if the number can’t be divided equally make the extra person a builder.
Action 1 [builders and farmers] : build a farm
Action 2 [rest of the tribe]: upgrade the tools to bronze tools
Poll for simplicity
- Wait until everyone is eligible to become a civilization
- Have it be possible for people to become civilizations before others
0 voters
I think that is because we haven’t done anything significant yet
no it alerts the players to vote.
I think some people should be in different stages
People Distribution:
- 24 - Fisherman - Fish The Fish
- 18 - Farmer - Farm The Farms
- 18 - Herders - Manage The Animals
- 15 - Builders - Build The Building And Craft The Tools
- 13 - Gatherers - Gather The Materials For The Other Jobs And Manages The Storehouse
- 24 - Philosophers - Research The Technology

[13 Gathers + 15 Builders + 19 Fisherman] Action: Establish A New Village Next To A River And Call It Anawel
-
[24 Philosophers + 18 Herders + 18 Farmers + 5 Fisherman] Action 2: Learn How To Make Bronze
Oh yes sorry I forgot. Still have to perfect the formatting.
So i guess i have to make an action (How do you get two actions help)
Action 1 - Make half of my population research a better weapon
Action 2 - The rest of my population research a way to defend ourselves while moving
Random Information
Stadtburg is supposed to be where Linz is
The people of Kugelland are called Sphärenvölker
You need another village.
wait so i can’t explore? Or is it for something else?
You have to research various things, but my advice is that you should research agriculture first.
