Leader: Tekis

Actions: [Global] Trade with the Laestrygonians
Result: 14/20 +2 +3 = 19/20
You are starting to develop good relations with the Laestrygonians with your trades, so your reputation with them goes up. Once they visited you, you showed them your concept of currency, which they thought would be very useful to trade, so they gave you the knowledge of better furnaces. Also, you traded many goods, raising population, and your newly employed citizens are much more efficient at one job, which also raises your population.

Actions: [Global] Fortifications
Result: 9/20 +2 = 11/20
Your village is bare and exposed to wild animals and invaders, so you had to find a solution to that. Your idea is to build a wall around the village, which will keep out the animals that steal your food, which raises your population, and give you a bonus during invasion rolls. Also, since your people have specialised, they can do their job better, so food producers make more food, which raises population.

Actions: [27] Iron Weapons, [27] Iron Tools
Result: 17/20 -4 = 13/20, 16/20 -4 = 12/20
You put your knowledge of ironworking to use and improve your melee weapons (One roll per category of weapon, so no bow). You don your spear with sharp metal tips, you make double-edged swords, and you repurpose some axes to have to heads and be used in battle. This will give you a +4 to combat rolls.

You also decide to upgrade your tools, making hoes to till the soil, increasing food production and, in turn, your population, and making iron pickaxes and axes to dig the soil and chop trees for resources. (No fishing rod because it’s a new technology, that would be a roll on its own.)

Laestrygonians

Leader: Orko

Actions: [36 (35 Fishers)] New village (because of leftover population), [31 (30 Traders)] Expedition to Phoenicia, [43 (30 Goatherds, 13 farmers)] Cheese
Result: 15/20 -6 +4 (because sailing to the island) = 13/20, 17/20 -6 +2 +4 +2 = 19/20, 13/20 -5 +3 = 11/20
Your village has increased to such a size that it was time for some people to move away to a form a new village. Your Fishermen sail to the isle of Guernsey, where they establish the new fishing village of Xirimiri. This new area gives room for an increase in population. Congratulations, you now have a second global action.

You set off to revisit your trading partners the Phoenicians. A lot has changed since your last visit (thousands of years ago haha), mainly their new form of trade, using carved seashells with an artificial value instead of bartering with goods. This piqued your traders’ interest, who thought it would be more advantageous to trade with more lightweight and compact pieces than the more spacious goods they carry by boat. In exchange for this economic marvel, they gave the Phoenicians the technique to build better ovens. All this trading with them increases your reputation. When they came back, they had a surplus of resources, which raised your population. Currency gives a +2 to trading rolls and +5 to trading rolls where the other party also has currency.

Some of your goatherds are very clumsy. One of them stored their goat milk too long, and instead of inspecting it, he drank right out of the container. Obviously, he spat out the curdled drink, but he was curious about the peculiar taste. It was obviously spoiled, but something was different about it. It didn’t taste bitter, like spoiled food should, but instead, it was salty. He took his chances and ate it. After a while, now knowing it was harmless, the clumsy goatherd shared the new food with his pals. You now have cheese! This will be added to the culture tab, and it raises your population slightly.

Actions: [Global] Build a massive temple, [Global] Farms
Result: 8/20 +3 = 11/20, 18/20
You order your new war prisoners to build a massive temple where they will be sacrificed to the banods. It was as if they digging their own graves. Once they were done, it stood very tall. It was made of sandstone and mud bricks, with a hallway dotted with large columns leading to an altar, wherein the prisoners shall be sacrificed. It is impressive enough to be considered a landmark, which will have more use in the civ stage. You may name the temple if you want.

Leader: Evolution4Weak

Action: [29 (Philosopher, Hunter Farmer)] Husbandry, [20 (Gatherer, Builder, Labourer)] Storehouse, [17 (Fisher)] Better fishing
Result: 16/20 -5 +2 = 13/20, 17/20 -6 +2 = 13/20, 11/20 -7 +2 = 6/20
You send your hunters, philosophers and farmers on a quest to find animals they can raise and control. They find wild birds that they capture and bring to the village. After lots of breeding, you end up with chickens, which you harvest eggs and meat from, raising your population.

Your resources are starting to pile up in houses, so you task your builders, gatherers and labourers to find a solution. To counter the problem, they build a structure dedicated to housing excess resources, the storehouse. This frees up space for more people to move in and more resources to store, which increases population.

Unfortunately, your fishermen could not find a way to improve their fishing yields.

Mexica

Leader: Montezuma

Actions: [37] Astronomy, [37] More housing
Result: 20/20 -4 +2 +2 = 20/20!, 10/20 -4 = 6/20
One of your villagers was reckless enough to go near the site of a previously active volcanic site near the beach to have a vantage point to study the stars. What he found there was that some of the sand was smoky and sort of crystalline. Taking a closer look, he carves the piece into a bowl shape to grab a drink, and when he looked through, he figured out that it made his sight go further! Now, stargazing can be even easier, thanks to the telescopes, which will give a +2 to exploration and spying.

Montezuma tasks his people to build more houses to accommodate more people, but they did not have enough resources to do so at the time.

You set off on another raid. This time, you try a little more South-East, where you find the agricultural village of Yi, belonging to the Taolu tribe. They seemed very attached to the environment around them and weren’t used to visitors, fearing them even. So they were already weary when they saw you coming, but they fought back when you decided to strike. You were victorious, but this isn’t the end! The Taolu tribe have declared war on you. Next turn ,you will get an invasion roll, so watch out! With only 3 casualties, you managed to plunder enough loot to gain 14 extra population. Ok I think I know about the game’s mechanics now I just have to make a name for my leader and my tribe and set the location

And there’s stability and technology too

I think you’re gonna split from a civ

Ok, sounds like a plan

I think I’m gonna split off of Bananarama

if you do not immediately swear to be my ally then i will destroy you.

Ok I think the age of secret actions is very near

Ok I will be your ally

I will call my civ Hollow Sands

Yes, you can join by splitting from another nation, which you’ve done.

You just need to name your leader, your nation and your village.
