Thrive Rules of Nature Competition

I forgot that I haven’t evolved my eggs at all, so I guess this is the first time, the introduction of scales would mean that they aren’t unicellular, but the main egg part would still be the largest.

Tbh I just wanted my guys to fly, and happened to start eating it guys when doom moved inland

But anyway as I said doesn’t rlly matter to me cus missile casts wasn’t my actual reason for choosing that mutation

Edit; also why are you trying the ‘polluted earth’ strat? Curious cus there doesn’t seem to be any reason behind it unless you want to be specifically targeted to be wiped out, which I don’t think is your goal

That wouldn’t protect you, humans are capable of producing CO2 yet if you were to inhale it you would die. Also, my species is capable pf just expelling toxic particles in general from the otganism since they have kidneys.

I’m sorry, but I really can’t accept this. All I wanted was a spin on the usual evolution game formula so it would work like an actual game of Thrive. Sure, maybe skirting into non-LAWK territory. You’ve been pushing that boundary with practically every post. Neural claws and castes seemed innocuous at the time, and I didn’t raise a fuss when you wanted to live in salbelgiumer AND freshwater. I’ve been telling myself it’s just a game. But producing industrial chemicals? Not only that, but specifically to ruin the game for everyone else? I don’t want to set any more precedents. The fact you’ve been consistently rude every time someone’s called you out doesn’t help. It isn’t fun anymore.

@willow You can go ahead and change your chlorine-based mutations for something else.

@TwilightWings21 Heat resistance is fine, but physically eating an explosion is a bit much (then again, I allowed them in the first place).

So I wont have to turn Legendicus into a world spanning Legion that coordinates to exterminate their species? Cool, Legendicus can now remain the mindless speed demon it was always meant to be.

May I ask, at which tier of “brain” does one become sapient (able to create a civ)? Let’s say that basic brain is tier 1, intermediate tier 2 etc…

Ok fair enough, I’m just trying to do something less earthlike, and sorry if it seems like I’m trying to ruin it for other people, I just assumed people would adapt and that would be the end of it.

Mutations:

Viviparity.

Missile size increase (again, as large as you will let me).

Enhanced wing muscles.

i think if you’re going to make something less earth like you should try to make the planet use something other than water, for example: ammonia. that would also open the door for silicon based life in anoxic areas, also missile bladder gas density would probably be better for more destruction since the aerodynamics wouldn’t be affected would

You can’t make other species change what they use, it is impossible not only because you literally can’t force it, but also because it is impossible to change midway throught.

artificial selection exists, also so does natural selection

Non Sequitur.

one of the two would cause water based organisms in an ocean with increasing ammonia content and decreasing water content to be able to use ammonia, especially since both function almost identically with the only main difference being the ability to have electrons floating through it, though the first one would definitely require sapience.

You are only proving me correct by trying to use means that go against conservation of mass.

Ye the explosion eating wasn’t the main reason I got the heat resistance, though I do specifically want it in the mouth and throat area

decreasing ammonia concentration and increasing water concentration only requires turning the water into ammonia and oxygen by breaking apart nitrogen gas and adding it to 3 hydrogen atoms from the water, there is no breaking of laws of physics here, especially since nitrogen is so common

I mean not rlly sure why you are arguing this willow, Mito said they didn’t want non-LAWK stuff as much as it could be avoided/to a reasonable level. Alternate biochemistry would be going a bit beyond this level

ammonia oceans wouldn’t necessitate much non LAWK stuff but they would enable it but the reason is because frale seemed to think what i was saying was completely unrelated to the post i replied to, which it wasn’t.
anyways, ammonia can’t really stay liquid at 1 atmosphere in room temperature so you’d need to bring comets to the planet, which would require going to space, which requires either sapience or using an explosive or flamethrower caste to get to space and an exoskeleton as well as methods of respiration that don’t require breathing

It would involve alternate biochemistry, that is very Non-LAWK. Either way, this argument doesn’t seem to serve real purpose to the game because I can say with confidence it won’t happen, so it’s just clogging the thread. I would highly recommend all conversation about this topic cease here.

Ignoring the fact that rockets aren’t flamethrowers…

The fact it requires space whales means it’s impossible. Also, their species would use a lot of energy to do those processes and therefore become unfit and as such go extinct.

shut. also wait and find out.
