After finding the effects of the lifestones, the ongoing expedition to find more failed every time, it seemed as if there was no hope until the tracking technique was discovered, by following the stoneās radiance to other stones they invented both the Life and Firestone compasses, While doing that they needed protection, so, with the newly found material, iron they started inventing better forging appliances using billows and created the light and dextrous sword, the katana. One of the most interesting finds of the decade was that of water stones and that the density of a stone increased near the stones, maybe this could help with the drills?

Maliava has only invented some sort of stone fusing thing, agriculture and fire and found some life gem, but they have an extra vote
Its really bs that i have almost twice the discoveries but dont get an extra vote
Civilizations can have more people doing research if they require less people for the produktion of food. We have an incredibly great agriculture system and we even cook the stuff so we should have a few spare people extra to go and discover stuff for us
And another thing: My species is like ants: We reproduce and grow pretty fast if we have a good food source. And yeah our food source is good. I spent the majority of my turns assuring that we would have plenty of food

@GodOfKnowledge you forgot to increase my vote bar as well, I would have gained +3 from Fire knowledge like all the others have upon fire discovery, which would have gotten me another vote, but I increased not at all.
Also, why did a Cavern giant have to do all that? (and what is āQi Gatheringā?) I already have a race thatās fireproof, the Lavawalkers.
Did i say that farmers have more time? No i did not. I said that they would have more people freed up for doing non agricultural activities. The more developed the farming is, the less farming would need to be done in total. For a hunter gatherer civilization it tends to be that they can only sustain themselves in small numbers and that they usually cant afford to have many thinkers. The reason why less farming needs to be done is because the output of nutrients is high enough to make up for the lack of an abundance of fields.

Details: The Creatures heavily resemble Ants in behaviour. Their appearance most closely resembles the Leafcutter Ant ( Atta colombica) however their size is about 12cm (imagine a group of ants the size of a large hummingbird just came running out of the ground and swarming you). Like real (fungus growing) leafcutter ants they understand how to grow things such as mushrooms by utilizing leaves as. The Species builds nests underground and in the sides of mountains for both protection from other creatures aswell. While they primarily spend their time underground, whenever the chance presents itself, they will leave their nest and hunt for nearby animals to gain some food. They have 4 Legs with the focus of walking aswell as 2 Front arms which can be used both as legs and as arms. Smaller creatures also tend to often wander into the Nests of the Hecato for shelter, just to never leave it again in the same shape

To sum that all up: We are basically larger and more intelligent ants, we live in the underground next to a large lake, where we have farmland growing stone fungi and raising stone aphids (which btw feed off of stone fungi), aswell as having built aqueducts to transport water. While yes we are in colder caves, we have FIRE. Are species have an integrated govermental system in a sense, where everything follows the queen and is willing to give its life for it. They can ALSO communicate from afar using pheromones.

Wrong, it is a widely accepted concept in the scientific community that hunter gatherers had much more free time than agricoltural societies.

Farmers take care of crops and fields for a few months a year and then have like half a year where theres nothing to do for them
Do you think that taking care of crops is the only thing farmers did? They also needed to repair tools, take care of the farmland and prepare for the next season. And the more systems they have in their farmland (like irrigation canals), the more work they have to do.

With the addition of the cultivation technique, the council returned to power, so ur vote 1 is already in effect.

Why wiring? u can do writing IDK what u gonna do with wiring, if you want to specialize in it thatās fine, but if u like score a succ+ or 15+ roll on an advanced vote like a lightbulb (If you had glass and a forge) then you would get wiring as a consequence
